As part of the WYEP project, a week-long fish and Food Processing class was organized at FCDP. The course concluded with a Food Fest and certificate distribution held at FCDP hall, on 20 April 2024. Mrs. Agnes John (Chairperson, FCDP) welcomed the gathering Fr. Varghese Payanadath sdb ( Vicar, st. Stephen Church, Thope) presided over the function . Mr. Stephen (Dev Snacks kollam) inaugurated the function and awarded certificates to the participants. Mrs. Celin Stephen (DevSnacks, Kollam), Fr.Joby Sebastian (Director FCDP-TMS), Mr. Ajay Shankar(Trainer) and Fr. Jithin Sebastian (Asst Director, FCDP) shared the dias. A number of benefactors and well-wishers were invited to the function. Present were also the staff members of FCDP-TMS. The event showcased a variety of food items prepared by the trainees themselves. Some of the prominent items for the food fest included Beef and Chicken Cutlets, Samosas, Chicken Soup, Fried Rice, Kappa, Fish Curry, Chicken Curry, Chicken Sandwich, Fish fingers, Chicken Roll, Fish Nugget and Kappa Puttu.
