PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE LIVING: DISTRIBUTION OF VEGETABLE SAPLINGS

An awareness class was organized to promote sustainable living as part of the WE-LivE project, under the guidance of FCDP. Mr. Prakashan, Agriculture Officer of Kollam, conducted the session, educating participants on soil preparation, crop harvesting, and protection from microorganisms. Mrs. Gretta Raju (Executive Manager, FCDP) addressed the gathering. Mr. Prakash distributed vegetable saplings and fertilizers to the women, who were joined by Mrs. Sajeev Kumar, Assistant Agriculture Officer, Sr. Mary K, (Asst. Director, TMS) Miss. Anna Saju, (Coordinator, WE-LivE) and FCDP-TMS staff members. 30 women attended the function, taking a significant step towards sustainable living.
