DBCF & DBYF CELEBRATE WORLD FOOD DAY

On 21 October 2023 Don Bosco Children’s Forum and Don Bosco Youth Forum members celebrated World Food Day. As part of the program, members distributed over 350 home made food packets to the helpless and needy, including the beneficiaries of Visappinu Vida. Food packets were also distributed at Andamukkam, Chinnakada Bus Stand, Reservation Camp, Railway Station, Ashramam, Beach, and District Hospital. The program started with a prayer song. Miss Bijina Biju (Golden Eagles), welcomed the dignitaries. Mr. Tomy Napoleon (Councillor, Pallithottam) inaugurated the program. Rev. Fr. Joby Sebastian (Director) introduced the programme and Miss Alka Melvin proposed the vote of thanks. Rev. Fr. Jithin M.S. (Asst. Director), Mrs. Bindhu Harison (co-ordinator, DBCF), Mrs. Mary John (co-ordinator, DBYF), and animators led the program.
