Don Bosco Youth Forum (DBYF) and Don Bosco Children's Forum (DBCF) jointly celebrated Christmas and New Year

Don Bosco Youth Forum (DBYF) and Don Bosco Children's Forum (DBCF) jointly celebrated Christmas and New Year at Rotary Club Hall on 30 Dec 2022. The program was jointly organized by the Fishermen Community Development Program, Kollam Marthoma Church Yuvajana Sakhyam, and the Rotary Club of Kollam.

The function was presided over by Mrs. Agnes John (Chairperson, FCDP). Rt. Rev. Mgr. Vincent Machado (V.G, Diocese of Kollam) inaugurated the celebrations. Rev. Fr. Joshua (Parish Priest, Marthoma church) gave the keynote address and inaugurated the Christmas Gift program. Shri Nawaz MI (President, Rotary Club of Quilon), Fr. Joby Sebastian ( Director, FCDP) and Mrs. Veronica Antony (President, TMS) offered felicitation. The highlight of the celebration was obviously, "Bunches of God's Love, Love in Action", by Kollam Marthoma Church Yuvajana Sakhyam. Study materials collected by the Kollam Marthoma Yuvajana Sakhyam for Christmas were shared with the students of the fisher folk community as Christmas gifts on the occasion - a novel way of celebrating Christmas by sharing your resources with others. It was a true celebration of the true spirit of Christmas.
