E-shram registration drive was inaugurated on 28th November 2021 at FCDP hall by Mr. N. Tomy, Pallithottam Councillor. Ms. Anisha B Chacko welcomed the gathering and the guests. Mr. Sreekumar, Assistant Labour E-shram registration Officer gave the presidential address. Mr. Dileep (Common Service Centre, Kollam) spoke about the benefits of E-shram card and its registration. More than 70 migrant workers participated in the programme. Following the vote of thanks by Mr. Alan Samuel Placid (Project Coordinator, KISMAT), E-shram registration was started. Fishermen, women auto drivers and other daily wage labourers also came for E-shram registration. More than 170 people registered their names for E-shram which is a central government scheme for the welfare of people working in the unorganized sector.
