Legal awareness campaign held

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and Taluk Legal Services Authority (TLSA), Kollam in collaboration with Fishermen Community Development Programme and Theeradesa Mahila Society, launched a campaign on legal awareness on October 27 at FCDP Hall. Adv. Dileep (TLS panel member) led the awareness class. The session concientized the participants of their entitlements and apprised them about the availability of free legal services. The main purpose of the program was to empower the poor and disadvantaged sections of society to seek and demand legal services.
