WELivE Workshop – 2 for Kitchen Gardening

As part of the WELivE (Women Empowerment through Livelihood and Entrepreneurship) project, a one day workshop on Organic Farming and Kitchen Gardening was organized at FCDP hall on 30th December 2020. The resource person for the workshop was Ms. Nimina S. The participants consisted of women who have come forward to set up a vegetable garden at their homes. The workshop focused on potting mixture, organic manure, organic pesticides and culturing methods. Following the workshop, saplings of plants were distributed to the participants. The workshop served as an eye-opener to the number of possibilities open towards becoming self-reliant with regard to producing vegetables for home use.
