Don Bosco Youth Forum celebrated the International Day of Peace

Don Bosco Youth Forum, the youth wing of FCDP, organized a flash mob and various programs. On the observation of World Peace Day on September 23, 2023, under the theme "Actions for Peace: Our Ambition for the Global Goals," at Thangassery Breakwater and Kollam Beach On the occasion, Mr. Sajeevan Soman (ward councillor, Mundakkal) flew a dove as a symbol of peace at the Thangassery breakwater, and Mr. Tommy Napoleon (ward councillor, Pallithottam) gave a message of peace at Kollam beach. Miss Sanjana Shaji spoke about the importance of World Peace Day. More than 100 people and youths lit the lamp in celebration of World Peace Day at Kollam Beach. Miss Roshal Maria took the oath. Miss Shruthi Johny offered a vote of thanks. Fr. Joby Sebastian (Director, FCDP-TMS), Fr. Jithin (Asst Director, FCDP), Director Sr. Mary K (Asst Director, TMS), Mrs. Mary John (DBYF Coordinator), and FCDP members, coordinators, and animators presided over the event. Don Bosco Youth has come forward with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of peace and the need to work towards a peaceful and harmonious world.
