A Health talk on AIDS & Its Prevention

DB.Tech Kollam conducted a guest class session on HIV/ AIDS on 19-11-2014 . The deliver the session Mrs. Rakhi Sundar (Lecturer-Bishop Benziger College of Nursing ) was invited as the resource person. The Nursing students of Bishop Benziger Hospital was also assosiated to deliver the session. Programme began with a welcome speech by Mrs.Smitha.RR( Trainer-BPO ).

The session started with an introduction of HIV- AIDS disease. They explained the symptoms of the disease and also told the difference between HIV and AIDS . They highlighted the precautions also. The different stages of the disease were presented through power point presentations. For giving more awareness they shown a short film movie based on HIV-AIDS to the students. At the end of the session they requested the students to pass these messages to the people .They conducted an open discussion with students to clarify their doubts regarding the disesase. The Session ended with a thanks note by Ms.Shahira.SS ( Trainer- Retail).
