Don Bosco Children's Forum Back in Action

After the exam-break, Don Bosco Children's Forum (DBCF) is back with new vigour and enthusiasm. The groups viz., DBC Legends, DBC Rockstars, DBC Bangtan, DBC Thunder, DBC SquadX, DBC Warriors, and DBC Golden Eagles met at FCDP hall on different days in the second week of May. The gatherings were fun filled with games, dances etc and included discussions on the action plan of DBCF for the coming months. New office bearers were elected for the teams and venues fixed for weekly activities. DBCF members have weekly meetings in their respective areas and a common meet up once in a month. There are over 400 active members in DBCF consisting of children from classes V to X. DBCF is part of FCDP's efforts towards integral development of the children of the coastal area of Kollam - to build leadership and motivation, nurture talents, create a sense of social responsibility and keep children away from destructive influences by engaging them in useful and creative activities.
