Don Bosco Tailoring Centre gets Extra Power:

Thanks to the generosity of our donor, the Don Bosco Tailoring Centre, under FCDP received four more power machines. The high speed Jack brand power machines means much to the women engaged in stitching here. The new machines have made stitching faster and more efficient which in turn will bring more income per day. The women who have mostly been using umbrella machines, the obtaining of new machines is a dream come true. There are currently six staff engaged in stitching mostly cloth bags, aprons for various shops and super markets.

The new power machines were blessed by Rev. Fr. Joe Fernandez, (Director Boys Home, Mundakkal), in the presence of staff and students of FCDP. Dr. Sindha H. Mendez (Chairperson, FCDP) offered felicitations and sweets were distributed to all. Our sincere thanks to our benefactor and Rev. Fr. Joe Fernandez who was instrumental in making this possible.
