"Don Bosco Under-15 Sevens Football Tournament".

"Don Bosco Under 15 Sevens Football Tournament" organized by Don Bosco Children's Forum under the leadership of FCDP, was a wonderful way of honoring Don Bosco, the father & friend of the young. Eight teams - DBC warriors, DBC Legends, DBC Thunders, DBC Rockstar, DBC Golden eagles, DBC Bangton, and DBC Squad X, including the girls' team from Children's Forum, participated in the matches. The tournament was organized at Don Bosco Boys' home ground from 23rd January. The Finals were held on 28th January, Shri. Kuruvila Joseph (Councillor, 42 Mundakkal Ward) inaugurated the event. Rev. Fr. Bino presided over the function.

DBC Golden Eagles and DBC Thunders clashed in the exciting final. DBC Thunders won the match through a penalty shoot-out. Don Bosco Ever Rolly trophies for the winners & runners-up were handed over by Shri. Kuruvila Joseph. Mrs. Usha Biju proposed the vote of thanks at the prize-giving ceremony. Don Bosco FA Coach Mr. Innocent S (Aji), Mrs. Bindhu Harrison (Coordinator, DBCF) Group Animators Mrs. Mini Placid, Mrs. Usha Biju, Mrs. Rineesha Francis, Mrs. Anu Moses, Mrs. Jency Paul, and Mrs. Nancy Xavier conducted the tournament.

Don Bosco Children's Forum is the children's wing of FCDP. The forum consists of 7 groups of more than 300 children from 5th to 10th standard from different sections. DBYF brings together children of the coastal area to provide integral formation & development.
