Don Bosco Summer Camp-2023 has been successfully completed by sprouting the seeds of knowledge in summer as well. In the closing meeting held today (06-05-2023), Navdeep Education Trust Chairman Shri. Cletus Austin was the guest of honor. He emphasized on the necessity of inculcating the habit of reading. Fr. Joby Sebastian (Director, FCDP-TMS), Fr. Jithin (Asst. Director, FCDP), Sister Annie Joseph, Ms. Anisha B. Chacko (Project Head, FCDP), Deacon Rubin Mathew (Camp Chief), Br. Jibin J. Fernandes (Asst. Camp Chief), Smt. Greta (TMS Board Members) Mrs. Bindu Harrison (Children's Forum Coordinator), Fr. Jithin (Asst. Director, FCDP) c. Annie Joseph, etc. and other animators, volunteers and interns participated in the concluding session.The camp organized under the joint auspices of Fishermen Development Program (FCDP) and Coastal Women's Organization (TMS) was organized at Don Bosco Boys Home, Kollam. About 200 students studying between 5th and 10th standard were present in the one-month long camp.The feature of this camp is to inculcate life skills in the children through games and different activities. Along with personality development classes and sharing English and Maths subjects with children in a simple and creative way. Don Bosco Summer Camp has been able to provide opportunities for children to identify and develop their talents in arts, sports, curricular and extracurricular areas. Many people working for public welfare came to this camp every day to give messages to the children.
