DBYF receives government affiliation

Don Bosco Youth Forum under FCDP is now affiliated to Nehru Yuva Kendra (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GOI). Mr. Nipun Chandran, District Youth Officer, Kollam, handed over the affiliation certificate to Mr. Anoopraj, Project Coordinator, and FCDP.

Don Bosco Youth Forum, under the aegis of Fishermen Community Development Program, Kollam, consists of youth between 18-30 years of age from the Thangassery to Thanni in the coastal belt of Kollam. Re-christened in 2019, the main objective of the Don Bosco Youth Forum is to nurture the skills of youngsters in the coastal area and to empower them for personal and social development.
