Don Bosco Children's Forum celebrated World Food Day - on 24 October 2022

On the occasion of World Food Day, Don Bosco Children's Forum (DBCF) conducted the distribution of food packets. At 11:30 am children from 7 groups of Don Bosco Children's Forum gathered at FCDP for food packet distribution. Rev. Fr. Stephen Mukattil (Rector & Parish priest, St. Stephen's Church) and Mrs. Agnes John (Chairperson, FCDP) addressed the children on the importance of the day. Around 180 food packets were distributed at Railway Station, Bus Stand, Ashram, Port Kollam, and Thuyam Palli. One of the toughest revolutions the world has ever seen is the fight against hunger. The price of hunger is known only to the men who roam the streets begging for an early meal with their bloated bellies. Today, the gift they received as a reward for the packages given by the children was full of smiles. "Smile without blemish to the one who feeds the hungry ''.
