Inaguartion of Legal Services Clinic

On 13th November 2019 the Legal Services Clinic was officially inaugurated at Fishermen community Development Programme by the Kollam District Legal Services Authority. The Honorable Secretary & Sub-Judge, Mrs. Subitha Chirakkal who was the chief guest at the function held at FCDP Hall inaugurated the Clinic by lighting the lamp and cutting the ribbon. The legal services clinic aims to impart free legal aid to the fisher folk and create awareness among them about the contemporary legal issues. Ms. Subitha Chirakkal extended full cooperation of the District Legal Service Authority and assured proper functioning of the Legal Services Clinic for the betterment of the fisher folk community. Kader, (council member, District Legal Service Authority), Fr.Sunny Uppan, (Rector & parish priest, Thope), Smt.Jijimol (Inspector of police, Women cell), Mr.Rajeev (S.I, Pallithottam), Mr. Militon .S. (Board member, FCDP) and Smt. Agnes John (President, TMS) spoke on the occasion.
