Peace Rally

Don Bosco Youth joined the rest of the world in celebrating Gandhi Jayanthi and international year of non-violence. A Peace Rally was organized under the aegis of Rotary Club of Thangassery in collaboration with Don Bosco Youth Forum and FCDP to mark the occasion. The Peace Rally was flagged off by Mr. Sreenivasan (Director General, Rotary Club).

The rally started from Gandhi Library, Thangasseri at 7.00 a.m. and concluded at Kollam beach by 8.30 a.m. At the Kollam Beach, the participants were addressed by Rev. Fr. Joby Sebastian sdb (Director, FCDP & TMS), Sr. Mary K. FMA (Asst. Director, TMS), Mr. Vipin Kumar, (President, Rotary Club of Tangasseri), Mr. Ambili (Asst. Governor, Rotary Club of Tangasseri) and Ms. Anisha B. Chacko (Project coordinator, FCDP). Mr. Georgie Philip (Secretary, Rotary Club of Tangasseri) proposed the vote of thanks. Don Bosco Youth Forum representatives spanning from Thangasseri to Eravipuram participated in the event which aimed at promoting peace and highlighting the need to resolve conflicts within and without the society.
