Production Unit relocated to Don Bosco Centre, Kodimaram

After months of preparation, finally the newly renovated production centre for Healthy Masala and Homecare products under FCDP was inaugurated at Don Bosco Centre, Kodimaram. The unit was inaugurated and blessed by Fr. Stephen Mukkattil (Rector and Parish Priest, Thope). Fr. Joby Sebastian (Director, FCDP), Fr. Bino Nadakkal (Director of Childline Kollam, DB Tech and Quest), Fr. P.C Thomas (Administrator), Sr. Mary Karuvelil (Assistant Director, TMS) and members of the board and staff of FCDP and TMS were present for the inaugural function. The compound that once constituted a tailoring unit and bakery, provision store and day care centre now holds the Community Health Centre, Don Bosco Youth Centre, and Production Units, while the tailoring centre has been moved to FCDP. The production units and store combined have generated employment and empowered the women of the community.
