Vishappinu Vida goes green; takes new strides in Women Empowerment.

At a moving function held at visappinu vida office on Monday (30/09/2019), Mr Franklin the hitherto auto driver of Visappinu Vida, handed over the baton to Mrs Rini, the new driver. For the last two and a half years, Mr Franklin had been faithfully carrying food to the beneficiaries of Visappinu vida in his auto. The appointment of a new driver was necessitated by the introduction of e-auto for reaching food to the homes of the beneficiaries. The introduction of electric auto is an effort at going green and the appointment of a lady driver is part of FCDP's commitment at women empowerment.

Present at the function were the members of the executive committee of visappinu vida and members of the Working Council. Fr. Joby Sebastian, director of FCDP - TMS in the welcome speech appreciated the hard work and commitment that Mr. Franklin. Dr. Sindha Mendez, Chairperson, FCDP, Mrs. Gretta Raju, Coordinator, FCDP, Mrs. Mini Mary, Coordinator, TMS, and Mrs Sindhu Gerald, Team leader, Vishappinu Vida offered felicitations. All the speakers highlighted the sincerity and meticulousness with which Mr Franklin performed his duty. Mr. Ansel Raymond, member executive committee presented Mr Franklin with a gift in the name of Visappinu Vida.
