Women Empowerment Rally and Public Meeting

In Collaboration with Fisherman Community Development Program and Coastal Women Committee for liquor and Drug Prevention, a women empowerment rally and public meeting was conducted on August 10, 2019. Aimed at curbing the growing use of alcohol and drugs on the coastal areas, especially in the areas from Thangassery to Thanny. The rally was flagged off by Honorable Deputy Mayor, Kollam Corporation Smt. Vijaya Francis with the participation of more than 500 coastal women. The public meeting was inaugurated by Kollam Assistant Excise Commissioner T. Tajudheen Kutty in the presence of Vicar General of Kollam Diocese Mgr. Vincent Machado, Pallithottam Councilor Smt. Vinitha Vincent, F.C.D.P. - T.M.S Director Fr. Joby Sebastian and Fr. Sunny Uppan (Parish Priest, Thope).
