World Human Rights Day Observed

World Human Rights Day was observed on the initiative of the Human Rights Federation (HRF) Kollam District Committee and Fishermen Community Development Programme (FCDP). Dr Anuroop (RMO, Kollam).inaugurated the program. HRF Kollam District President Adv. G Vijayakumar presided over the function. Dr Anuroop in said in the inaugural address that Human Rights Protection Act should be amended and strengthened from time to time. Advocate Boris Paul gave an audio message on human rights. FCDP Director Fr Joby Sebastian, Kollam Traffic Sub-Inspector Shri P Pradeep, Mohanakumar, S Arshaj and Ajith David spoke on the occasion. Dr Anuroop received the award presented to the AA Rahim Memorial Kollam District Hospital for effectively coping with Covid 19. Traffic Sub-Inspector Shri P Pradeep and human rights activist Shri Babu were honoured at the meeting for their commendable service. Wheelchair and educational award was distributed on the occasion.
